Welcome to Pixeldust, a family business in the great state of Washington.  I've been creating art and working from the backside of a camera as long as I can remember.  After majoring in Graphic Arts and Visual Communications at Towson State University in Baltimore, I moved west with my husband in 1991.  We landed in Washington, where we've been living, working, and raising our kids ever since. 

I put down my camera and paint brushes for a while when my kids were young; imagine my surprise at how much the digital age had changed the photography and graphic design markets when I restarted my career in 2005.  Needless to say, I spent significant time retraining and refining my skills to catch up with technology.  I'm glad to say, though, that technology has simply expanded our methods of expression; the eyes of the artist still see beauty in the innocence of a candid moment, in the stunning natural world around us, in the simple things that bring us joy.
